PIONEER SOCCER LEAGUE
The Pioneer Soccer League was initially established in 1983, though due to different financial and legal disputes, the league’s inaugural season was not until 1985. Most clubs found local colleges and club teams to play to keep themselves busy. Eventually the league secured funding and was able to spread into more markets in the southeast.
